Terms of service
The same terms we say out loud on the phone, written down so there is nothing to remember wrongly.
Who you are dealing with
Pace Island Cooking Service, an independent appliance repair company working in Clay County. We hold no appointment from Wolf and none from its parent company, and we name the brand on this site only to identify the equipment we repair. The full statement of that is printed in the footer of every page here.
Scope of work
We service Wolf cooking appliances only: ranges, rangetops, cooktops, built-in wall ovens, steam and speed ovens, warming drawers, outdoor gas grills, and the ventilation fitted above them. We do not service other manufacturers, and we do not service refrigeration, laundry or dishwashing equipment.
The visit and the estimate
A visit costs $80, flat, payable whether or not you proceed. Credited in full toward the repair if you go ahead with the work. You get a written estimate before any part is ordered or any labour is billed. No part is ordered and no repair labour is billed until you have approved the estimate.
If access is blocked, if the appliance is not on site, or if nobody over eighteen is present at the agreed time, the visit still counts as made.
Warranty
90 days on our labour and 365 days on the parts we install, from the date of the repair. Genuine OEM parts only. The warranty covers the fault we repaired; it is not a service contract and it does not cover a new and unrelated failure, damage from surge, misuse, pests, or work done to the appliance by anyone else afterwards.
Parts
We fit genuine original-equipment parts. Availability and lead time are set by the supplier, not by us. Special-order parts may be non-returnable once ordered; we will say so before ordering.
Safety
Gas and high-voltage work is done to code. If we find a condition we consider unsafe — a failed gas fitting, a compromised supply circuit, evidence of a surge event upstream of the appliance — we will say so and, where the fix is outside appliance work, we will tell you to call a licensed electrician or plumber instead of quietly working around it.
Cancellations
Call (904) 822-9883 as early as you can. There is no cancellation fee for a visit cancelled before the technician sets out.
